Undergraduates

Jonathan Smailys

2017 summer student. Poor Jonathan had to work through the move to the new BCC building.

Rebecca Zawistowski

2016 summer student. Another in a long line of summer students to abandon Creighton for a few months. She did a nice job of watching Philion doing experiments and fought of people breathing down her neck to finish strong with some nice data on the Peggy.

Philion Hoff

2015 to 2018 summer student. Mona's favorite summer student. Current record holder for most summers (4). Took the easy way out and went to Medical School (UNMC).

Megan Shadlow

2014 summer student. Megan was the second student to visit us from Oregon. She went back to continue work on her Chemical Engineering degree Oregon State University.

Kaitlin Goettsch

2013 summer student. Kaitlin was one of the first home school students in the lab. We decided to help her out by giving her all of the things she missed at public school, like "Bullying". Even though she had yet to get a drivers lincense, she somehow made it to the lab every day.

Schuyler Dougherty

2012 summer student. Even after getting to test drive the Electron Microscope on a trip to Case Western Reserve University, he chose business an went on to do IT work for Union Pacific.

Nick Lintel

2012 summer student.

Brent Bruck

2011 summer student. He dreamed of one day having to travel somewhere so far away he would need to take an airplane. None of us had the heart to explain to him how much air travel sucks.

Vivian Irizarry

2010 summer student. Stood a tall 5' 0.5" and now practices medicine.
