Matlab is a program that is a scripting program used to test complex calculation in a rapid development cycle. It allow very powerful mathematical operation to be carried out in a simple manner. Post processing and analysis of the topography images is currently carried out in Matlab (Image Tools on Image Window). Many of the operations may be incorporated into Ripple at a future point.
