BEAM-ish was developed entirely in C++. It uses Troll Tech's open source Qt Library for the GUI components. Most functions in BEAM-ish were tested and developed in Matlab before either being rewritten in C++ or ported to C++ using Matlab's shared libraries. The make file was built with TMAKE available at Troll Tech and based on PERL.
PEAKSTATS was originally coded in C but converted to C++.
HALFSLICE is written in C.
