What is it for?

This is where the process profiles from PEAKSTATS reside.  The file is accessed by BEAM-ish whenever the user requests a profile to be displayed.

How is it formatted?

The file is arranged in as a series of profiles.  It is basically laid out the same as the profile.dat file.  The main differences are that the header provides more information and the maximum and other significant profile feature are indicated in the text graph.  The file should always start off with a blank line.  The first line of any profile begins with a header line.  An example profile is shown below:

The header consists of a # sign followed by the values for h k l of  the reflection profile and then the xa and y position in pixels on the detector.  A blank line signifies the end of a profile.  The value pairs are angle, integrated intensity.
