The Qt Library provides the graphical widgets that form the core of the beamish GUI. Additionally some of the template classes that provide linked lists and other data structures are used. These files must reside on the shared library search path for BEAM-ish to load. Currently, BEAM-ish runs on the standard library but in the near future some calculations may be moved into a threaded model which will require the mt version of the libraries.
