Peak Searching

Peak searching is carried out in PEAKSTATS to calculate the height, width, location or peak within the reflection profile.  It is accomplished in a two step process after dezingering the data.  In the first pass BEAM-ish identifies the maximum intensity in the same.  Next it traverses left of the maximum and locates the positions where the 75%, 50% and 25% maximums occur.  It uses linear interpolation if the values are located between measurements.  Then it process the same information to the right of the maximum.

The results of this search are shown with as white line on the profile display on the main window.
